paying by mail. We have partnered with NoCheck, LLC to provide access
to a state-of-the-art secure network for processing payments. This
system uses cutting-edge encryption technology to ensure that only those
approved by you can have access to your confidential information.

The City of
Flint can accept ACH transactions (ACH stands for Automated Clearinghouse
and is another term for electronic check) and the following credit cards for
online payments of property tax and water bills: VISA or MasterCard.

Yes, there is
a convenience fee the processing
agency charges for using credit cards. The convenience fee is listed
separately on the payment screen and will be added into your payment.

No fees are assessed for using the ACH option.

Yes. Anyone using the Online Payment system must register
first.

You will
need your Property Tax Parcel Number, which is the ten-digit number, located
in the shaded area on the top left corner of your bill. If paying by ACH,
the bank account number from which you are transferring the funds, and the
bank or financial institution’s ABA routing number. If paying by credit
card, the credit card number, the three digit code on the back of the card
and the name and billing address of the card holder.

You will
need your Account Number, which is the sixteen-digit number located in the
top left corner of your water bill. If paying by ACH, the bank account
number from which you are transferring the funds, and the bank or financial
institution’s ABA routing number. If paying by credit card, the credit card
number, the three digit code on the back of the card and the name and
billing address of the card holder.

No. You
will be required to start the Online Payment process over again for each
account that you pay. You can’t pay more than one account during one Online
Payment transaction.

Refunds of
voluntary payments are prohibited. Compare the legal description and the
address on the screen with your own record of title before paying your
property tax bill. If you pay the wrong tax, the law holds you wholly
responsible and your payment will not be refunded or adjusted.

Yes, you can make a partial payment.

Your payment will be rejected and you must choose another
method of payment. A $25.00 NSF fee will also be added to your account.

After completing the payment process, a Confirmation Page with
a corresponding Confirmation Number will be displayed. You are encouraged
to print this page for your records.

Your personal Confirmation Number is very important. The
Confirmation Number is used to track your payment. After making a payment
online, your Confirmation Number will appear on the final screen.

Payments are processed on the date you specify as the payment
date.

Your payment should be made prior to 10:00pm on the date the
bill is due. (See bill for exact date). The City will recognize
the date and time printed on the confirmation page as the date of payment.

It takes approximately 4 business days for the City of Flint
records to be updated to show activity for your account.

It is important that you verify that you have entered your
correct account number. If the correct account number has been entered and
you are still having difficulty, please call 810-766-7015.

You can have your password sent to your email address. Click
on the link “Forgot Password” on the logon screen and fill in the requested
information. Once this process has been completed, your password will be
forwarded to you.

The amount due reflects payments that have been posted as of
the date shown. It may take up to four business days before payments are
reflected (posted) to your account. If the payment is not posted after 4
business days, please call 810-766-7015 to speak to a Customer Service
Representative.
